Manuel Benítez

Tax Lawyer & Advisor. Economist.

Manuel Benítez is a Lawyer registered with Bar Association of Seville with number 15.898 and   an Economist and Tax advisor. He studied a joint degree in Law and Business Management at the University of Cordoba, LL.M in Advocacy at the University of Cadiz and LL.M in Tax Advisement at FUECA. Currently he is completing the last year of his PhD research in International Tax Law at the University of Cadiz, specialising in tax residence of individuals. He also knowledgeable in corporate taxation and indirect taxation.

Furthermore, he has also published several papers in scientific reviews on international tax law matters. Among them Gibraltar and Brexit, a new framework to solve tax residence conflicts or Analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on tax residence of individuals, both published in the Aranzadi review. Manuel has presented several papers at scientific congresses  such as Common tax residence rules, or European tie-break rules? – A proposal, presented at the Global Tax Symposium, at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.

He is certified by the University of Cambridge in B2 English skills, and speaks and writes in  French.

Manuel joined Konsell Abogados y Asesores in 2018, and is currently head of the International Tax Dept , and assistant to the firm´s management.

Manuel has presented several papers at scientific congresses – or Manuel has made several presentations at scientific congresses.

Furthermore, he has also published several papers in scientific reviews in international tax law matters. Among the we may remark Gibraltar and Brexit, a new framework to solve tax residence conflicts or Analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on tax residence of individuals, both published in Aranzadi review. Moreover, Manuel has presented several communications in scientific congress, as the one imparted at GlobalTax Symposium held at University of Leidein (The Netherlands) whose title was Common tax residence rules, or European tie-break rules? – A proposal.

He is also certified by University of Cambridge in B2 English skills, and is able to speak and write French.

Manuel joined KONSELL ABOGADOS Y ASESORES in 2018, currently being the head of the Tax International Dept. , and assistant to the Firm´s Management.
